Are You Confident the Supplements You Take Will Not Harm You?

Do you care what is in your vitamins?  Do you think it matters? It matters enough that it could mean the difference between life and death.  I choose life -- what about you?


I know I would not be alive today if I had not done my research 40 years ago and switched to a safe brand.  I had been diagnosed with cancer and turned to nutrition for help.

What is the difference between Kosher and Certified Organic and should you care? Kosher requirements are far more stringent than Certified Organic.  Isn't your body worth the best?  Without getting technical about the differences, here are a couple basic reasons to use Kosher vitamins.

Feeling Good Every Day is Actually an Option

Do you enjoy downtime when you feel sick?  Miss work because of a cold or the flu?  Lack of energy?  Imagine what it is like to wake up every morning and feel good every SINGLE day?




My daughter told me a few years ago that she has zero memory of her mom ever being sick or tired.  I hadn't really thought about it but it is true.  Every day I feel great - I work hard, am rarely tired, eat what I like and never get sick.  



As a health coach for the past 30 plus years, I have been helping people reach their health goals and build a strong immune system.  It is possible.  And not that difficult!

Does your health matter to you?  Do you take time for your health today so that you have health for your time tomorrow?   I believe that most of us do the best we can as well as educate ourselves in various health-related matters. 

I started this journey when I was in my twenties and given two years to live.  That is far too young to hear the "C" word and told "Hysterectomy or death!"  Those were my choices and I didn't choose either one.  

What I did choose was LIFE and SO CAN YOU!  When I made that choice and won that battle I also made the choice to help as many people as I could for the rest of my life. I am grateful that I have been able to do that as a certified health coach.

Vitamins are supplements we take to make us feel better, look better and have a better sense of well being.  What most people do not realize is that they may be hurting themselves more than helping.  BUT, there are supplements available that are pure, unadulterated, unaltered and with LIVE enzymes to give you the most benefit.

In each one of the following articles, I explain what you need to look for when purchasing your supplements and not buy them because of the brand name or price. One of the largest vitamin companies on this planet (with a name that most people trust) is actually one of the worst.  They use the cheapest DEAD, synthetic ingredients possible to make the biggest buck.  They made a net profit of $48 BILLION last year.  That's NET!  Laughing all the way to the bank while the people taking their products are being lied to and even worse, getting sicker.  That article is in Week Eight below.

I am a registered symptomatologist and a certified health coach who has been steering people to optimum health for 35 years. I have cured myself of a wide variety of physical limitations ranging from chronic fatigue, rheumatoid arthritis, and uterine cancer. It doesn’t matter what you have to overcome specifically. It’s important to boost your immune system in order to heal current disease and prevent future disease.  A proactive attitude today will pay huge dividends tomorrow.

Optimum Health Is A Choice

Are you tired of feeling tired?  Of getting sick?  Having those awful symptoms that come with aging?  Lacking energy?  Is your hair getting thinner? Aging prematurely? Not sleeping well? Having health issues that just won't go away?  You are in good company because the longer I practice as a Symptomologist, the more I hear these discouraging words.  It is thrilling to offer improved health and......hope.

Do you believe the claims that vitamin companies make about their products?  Do you take the time to check if they are true? This is number six in a series on understanding the vitamins you are taking and whether or not they may harm or help your health.

I almost died (ovarian cancer) before I found natural unaltered food supplements that actually fed my cells and helped me gain a healthy life. Before that, I was taking vitamins, expecting them to help me.  But I had no idea what I was taking or that they were actually hurting me.  It is frustrating when people blindly accept what the advertisers tell them; it could be destroying their health, and their lives.


There are many vitamin companies, whose names I cannot will not mention for obvious reasons, that make false claims.  One thing I often hear is, "I take X brand supplements because they are a company I can trust."

Why is Alzheimer's a Commonly Seen Word in Health News?

One of the keywords we read in health news is the word "Alzheimers." Almost weekly, I receive an article regarding this debilitating and threatening disease that is affecting countless people no matter what their social standing or education level may be.

What concerns me is that I have yet to have an article come across my desk regarding a cure or preventative measures we can take. As a health coach, this is disturbing. The media is always quick to reveal anything negative and to instill in our minds that there is no cure.

However, there is a lot of information available on prevention of the disease and how to feed the brain proper nutrients and keep it stimulated in an effort to keep it healthy. I will share some of that research in this post.

To Flash or Not to HOT Flash - That is the Question

Hot flashes.  Dry skin.  Night Sweats.  Insomnia.  Mood swings. Hair loss.  Memory loss.   It has been suggested that Baby Boomer's hot flashes are causing Global Warming!

Sound familiar?  There are many posts written about menopause. Most of them are humorous yet packed with information on how to survive the numerous symptoms and body changes. 


I beg you not to roll your eyes at me but when I read and comment on these posts, I feel ostracized as if I am some kind of weirdo or liar.  I am told I am one of the "lucky" ones.  I am acutely aware of the list of symptoms that are common to menopausal women.  I often wondered why we don't find posts about women who have not had to deal with these negatives.  Do some women bypass them or could there be another reason?

What is the World's Greatest Con Job?

Last week I was asked to be on a National television show to talk about skin and how to avoid getting those awful brown aging spots.  It is always exciting to share secrets to improve health - inside and out!

At my age, many people expect to have skin issues. Dry rough skin. Skin that has lost its elasticity.  Those fine line wrinkles and those not so fine ones.  Skin that has become transparent and lost its luster.  Skin that bruises easily.  Aging spots.

Then there is our hair.  Thinning hair.  Dry, limp, dull hair.  Hair falling out.  Flaky scalp.  

Any of these sound familiar?

These are some simple signs of aging we all expect and are not surprised when they occur. We slap on creams and lotions or have laser treatment in an effort to prevent/cover-up the inevitable. We buy the most expensive shampoo and conditioner thinking they should be superior.  The whole process becomes a workout and rarely produces the long-lasting results we were hoping to achieve.
