Are You Afraid of the Coronavirus?

Your immune system is as powerful as you make it.  If you want to be protected from Coronavirus, Ebola,  Zika or anything in between, it is up to you to keep your immunity against the disease a strong force. The bonus is optimum health.

Optimum Health Is A Choice

Are you tired of feeling tired?  Of getting sick?  Having those awful symptoms that come with aging?  Lacking energy?  Is your hair getting thinner? Aging prematurely? Not sleeping well? Having health issues that just won't go away?  You are in good company because many people are searching for solutions.  There IS help and hope....and protection against disease.

This is number seven in a series on understanding the vitamins you are taking and whether or not they may harm or help your health.

I almost died (ovarian cancer) before I found natural unaltered food supplements that actually fed my cells and helped me gain a healthy life. Before that, I was taking vitamins, expecting them to help me. But I had no idea what I was taking or that they were actually hurting me. It is frustrating when people blindly accept what the advertisers tell them; it could be destroying their health and their lives.

Are you aware that most vitamins in supplements are petroleum extracts, coal tar derivatives, and chemically processed sugar with other acids and industrial chemicals such as formaldehyde used to process them? Synthetic vitamins were originally developed because they cost less. Assuming the non-food product does not contain fish oils, most synthetic, petroleum-derived, supplements will call their products 'vegetarian,' not because they are from vegetables but because THEY ARE NOT FROM ANIMALS.

There are many vitamin companies that make false claims. One thing I often hear is, "I take X brand supplements because they are a company I can trust."

I want to scream out loud
 "How Do You Know That?"

Why do you trust them?  Is it because your doctor recommended them?  It is very easy to check out a vitamin company using the criteria I have listed in my previous posts. If a brand is recommended by someone's health practitioner, don't consider it the gospel truth. BUT, if you are going to put something into your body in hopes of improving your health, wouldn't it be logical to check it out first?

It is common knowledge that doctors are not required to get any extensive education in the field of nutrition and health.  Consequently, most of them are NOT qualified to recommend one brand of vitamins over another.

The following is taken from an article (one of many) cited in the American Journal of Medicine,  Doctors Need to Learn About Nutrition

A commentary[1] in the September issue of the American Journal of Medicine criticized the deficiency of nutrition education in medical training. Citing a 2013 report[2] on US health that identified dietary factors as the single most significant risk factor for disability and premature death, the authors (who included diet gurus Drs. Dean Ornish and Andrew Weil) call for changes in medical school curriculum to address the deficit. Lead author Stephen R. Devries, MD, spoke with theheart.org | Medscape Cardiology.

Dr. Devries: "It's been clear to me for some time that nutrition has not been high on the radar in clinical cardiology. I know from my own training 25 years ago that I received essentially no education in nutrition in 3 years of internal medicine residency and 4 years of cardiovascular fellowship training. Unfortunately, despite the knowledge gained in the interim about the link between nutrition and health, very little has changed regarding the paucity of nutrition education over the past 25 years.
It struck me as a peculiar paradox that clinical practice guidelines highlight the primary importance of nutrition and lifestyle, yet the physicians who are expected to implement these guidelines receive absolutely no education in these areas during their residency and subspecialty training."
Hard to believe but true:

This is an ACTUAL statement on a vitamin bottle
of a brand that everyone knows and many "trust."

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. If taking other supplements, read label, as other supplements may contain the same ingredients. In case of accidental overdose contact a physician or poison control center immediately. Keep out of reach of children.

If the vitamins you are taking are unadulterated and pure, you would not need such a warning on the label.  But if they are synthetic or altered natural, did you know your life could depend on it?  My first article explains the difference between types of vitamins.  (See below for a list of articles)

Do you believe you can build health or life from dead products?  Do you understand how important it is to eat food with the life factor intact?  If so, why wouldn't we want that life factor in our vitamins which are supposed to build our health, not break it down?

What about the DIRTY DOZEN?  Does your vitamin company produce products containing even one of these?  If so, why would anyone trust that company?

Even if you have confidence in the company whose products you are taking, can they prove to you that the nutrients are ACTUALLY getting into your bloodstream? Is your body able to use them to improve your health?

Is there a difference between Certified Organic, Organic and Kosher products?  Do you know why anyone should care?  It can mean the difference between getting healthier or NOT.....

Yes, you CAN realize optimum health.  You CAN improve.  You can change the course your health is taking.

PREPARE TO BE SHOCKED:

YES....I am talking about
many of the companies you trust

Take the time to check out the brand of vitamins you are taking -- you may be shocked. If you need help with this, I will be THRILLED to help you.  As a certified Symptomologist, I will also give you a free assessment of what your body symptoms are saying to you.  All you have to do is ask. Send me an email and I will be happy to help you.

I have not had a cold, the flu, or any other type of virus or auto-immune disease since the early 1980s. Good health, vitality, and a sharp mind are available for each of us if we give our body what it needs to keep healthy.
