If Your Health Matters, What Are You Doing About It?

Does your health matter to you?  Do you take time for your health today so that you have health for your time tomorrow?   I believe that most of us do the best we can as well as educate ourselves in various health related matters.

I started this journey when I was in my twenties and given two years to live.  That is far too young to be hear the "C" word and told "Hysterectomy or death!"  Those were my choices and I didn't choose either one.  But that's another story and you can read how I chose to be a victor -- not a victim here.

What I did choose was LIFE.  When I made that choice and won that battle I also made the choice to help as many people as I could for the rest of my life.  I am so blessed and so grateful that I have been able to do just that as a certified health coach.

I want to start sharing some amazing stories with you but even more importantly some tips and information on how to improve your own health.

No matter how healthy we are or think we are, we can all do better, right?  I go to the doctor about once every five to seven years for my 'annual' check-up.  Each time, my blood work has improved. Normally, it should go in the opposite direction, right?

Maybe this is why I still do not have one grey hair on my head and my hairdresser comments every couple weeks when she has to thin my hair out "Why do you have so much hair?"  Your hair is a good indicator as to what state your health is in.

Do you have any of these problems?
  • Brittle or dry hair
  • Flaky scalp and dull hair
  • Poor hair growth
  • Dandruff
  • Hair loss
  • Red itchy scalp
  • Split ends
  • Thinning hair
Any of these issues can be changed if your body has the proper tools to work with -- the old adage rings true 'you are what you eat.'

Now, I promised you some stories.  At least once each week I have a client who shares how their life has changed since they started taking PROPER nutrients that the body can assimilate and build healthy cells.

This Week's Story

A young woman contacted me about eight months ago.  She had just miscarried and was understandably upset.  She wanted to be sure this did not happen again and also be confident that she was as healthy as she could possibly be.  I created a program for her to follow but when she came back a few days later she was crying.

She just received the results of her ultrasound that was done after the miscarriage.  She had Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS).  It is a hormone imbalance in women with many nasty symptoms.  It is one of the leading causes of infertility.  There is no cure.  It is also extremely painful.  Ultrasound revealed she had numerous cysts and many of them quite large.  Surgery was an option.  However, she decided she wanted to try natural food supplements to provide her body with the tools it needed to repair and heal.

That was then.   This is now.

Two days ago she contacted me with the results of the second ultrasound done a couple weeks ago. The specialist was excited to share the news.  There was absolutely NO sign of any cysts. NO surgery.  NO drugs.  Just pure unadulterated food supplements.  The doctor referred to her organs as pink and healthy.  He said "Whatever you are doing, keep doing it -- now go home and get pregnant!" And that is what she is intending to do!

Over the years, I have been called Dr. Fertility and every time I hear news like this, I cry.  I remember those words my doctor told me all those years ago. "There is not one chance in one million that you will ever have a baby."  And now.....I even have a grandson.

Would you like to know more about using food supplements to boost your health?  Do you have a miracle story to share?
